Anton Sipos, Bosnian, b, 1938
Anton Sipos was born in 1938, in Bosnia. He left home in his teens and found work as a film animation artist. His very first work, Surrogate, a 1961 film short, won an Academy Award for animation.
In 1964, he moved to France and studied at the École de Paris. He exhibited at the Salon d’Artistes Françaises in the Grand Palais, and in the Salon d’Automne in Paris.
In 1970, Anton moved to Los Angeles where he continued to paint and create art for films.
