Roberto Ciabani, Italian (1939 – )

Roberto Ciabani was born in Florence, Italy in 1939. When he was a young man, Roberto Ciabani won of a scholarship for young artists to study at the Royal Academy of Amsterdam in Holland. His art is in corporate and private collections around the world. In 1983, to commemorate the centennial of the classic fiction novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, Robert Ciabani illustrated the book The Authentic Story of Pinocchio of Tuscany, and created a series of paintings relating to the story of Pinocchio.
